My heart is at peace at what is going on now. We may be having a long distance relationship, but what matters is the trust I have in you. <3

On the 29th April, the whole of class 4A participated in the New South Wales Science Competition and on the 2nd may onwards was the Mid Year Examination already!!! This lasted till 13th May…

Republic Polytechnic also had its open house on the 14th to 17th May 2008 and most of us went in different groups…

The following week, we had intensive mother tongue training that lasted for a week…. Haix, so dull… But the dullness was enlightened by the giving of Best Student of Term 2 which I had received on 23rd May 2008… How long ago was it since I last smelled this award? Nvm… Ignore me if u like…

Our O Level Mother Tongue paper was on 26th May 2008 and thereafter, some of my classmates left for a trip to Germany at 3am of 27th May!!!! The trip finally ended on the5th June 2008… If I’m not wrong, I think they reached S’pore at 1pm?

From the 9th June till 20th June, we had holiday lessons… Zzz… Wad a life of Sec 4s…. We had remedial lessons for EL, Maths, Physics, Biology/POA/Art, Social Studies, Literature In Chinese/History/Geography…. Luckily, we also had a learning journey to places like Malay Heritage Centre and etc… We also had Motivational Talks and Talks by the School Advisory Committee… For the various sciences, we did our practical practices…

On 25th June 2008 was our Student Council Investiture where all our class and graduating class Student Councillors step down, keeping their councilor badge, tie and tie pin as memorial… If u r interested in wad happened on that day… 2 me, do read the previous post… They also sang 2 songs: I Dream and Go the Distance….

On the 29th June was our church Youth Sunday Service… We had been practicing for quite some time… I served in the choir in all 3 services… In the Bukit Panjang Covenant Evangelical Free Church… This was B4 our church becomes one church two centres, one in Bukit Panjang and the other in Woodlands…

title: On the day where i cried 4 a guy!!!!

Though it was a sunny day, it felt as if the dark clouds had been over me for the past few days since I knew that this was the day where my loved one had to step down from his head councilor position.

I stepped into school with a heavy heart, repeatedly saying to myself that I do not wish to witness the Student Council Investiture – a ceremony showing the passing over of councilor duties to the ‘next generation’. It seemed to me like just yesterday that Purnima, the last head councilor of Woodlands Secondary School, had passed her duties on to him and today, he has to pass on his duties to Suhaila, The next head councilor. The worry that I had for him did not cease. I had no idea why I was soooo worried about him, the life he would live after he stepped down, but I just had to. I had no idea why I was so sad too.

When the time finally came that we had to enter the school hall to witness the ceremony, I was very reluctant. Reluctant to stay on, reluctant to sit down and was even reluctant to sit near to the front of the hall. However, I had to sit at the front despite of the reluctances that I had. Seeing him on stage, giving his final speech and even passing on his duties to Suhaila, all these made me upset and worried.

On my way back to JB, the sec 5 Pala teased me and Him together, tears surged out of my eyes unceasingly. This was the first time I had ever cried for a guy that I had a crush on.
